The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, a 2012 romantic adventure series, sets to close the curtain on the plot that shaped a decade. With countless imitations, the “vampire love interest” of the Stephanie Meyer books hava created a generation of blood-sucking heartthrobs. With the breakup of her last book into two parts, the final movie is expected to continue to break records.
With the birth of Renesmee Cullen, Bella (Kristen Stewart) has decided after years of thought that she wants to live the remainder of her life on earth as a vampire. Once she has given birth, Edward (Robert Pattinson) grants her wish and begins the process, turning her into vampire who initially has extremely strong abilities and is rather volatile.
As word begins to spread of the happenings in the Pacific Northwest, the Voltori, the leaders and deliberators of the vampire race, learn that Renesmee is an immortal child, something that is strictly forbidden in their society. As a plot ensues to kill the newborn, the Cullens collect vampire clans all over the world to help protect their new family.
Directed by Bill Condon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is slated for a November 16th release later this year. With the first film having the 10th largest opening worldwide, expect astronomical numbers come November. Similar to the Harry Potter Series, Meyer has created a culture around her idea, and the finale looks like it will go out with an equally spectacular bang.
