Wrath of the Titans, a 2012 heroic fantasy film, comes two years after the critical success of its predecessor, Clash of the Titans (2010). Featuring the acting talents of Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes, this action-packed Greek tragedy touts mind-blowing visuals and an epic story.
Ten years after the triumphant victory over the kraken, Perseus (Sam Worthington), the half-god , half-man son of the most powerful god, Zeus, has settled down into a quiet lifestyle, becoming a fisherman. He and his ten year-old son has escaped the brutality of battle, until Zeus needs his help.
Starting to succumb to the powers of the Titans, Zeus (Liam Neeson) needs his half-son’s help as Kronos, the father of Zeus, begins to plot his escape from the hellish caverns of Tatarus. Perseus seeks the help of other demi-gods and strong warriors to help fend off the underworld as Kronos becomes stronger.
Directed by John Liebsman, Wrath of Titans will be released to audiences in the United States Friday, March 30th. It’s extremely successful past has already been said to prompted a third movie, which screenplays currently in the works. Having a modern-day advantage in terms of technology, Wrath of the Titans will feature action eye-candy and a fantastical narrative.
